Reviews

  • Anything Goes - Westchester Broadway

    • As Hope Harcourt, the gorgeous social debutante, Raye is polished, charming, beguiling, and desirable which is exactly what the part calls for. Her characterization of the part is anything but one note. The actress offers a witty, intuitive, and three dimensional part. This Hope speaks her mind, and stands on her own two feet, and her performance is not to be taken for granted. Jackie Raye has the vocal chops to sing this Porter score in full, and reminds me of voices her in Les Mis, and Evita.” -James Ruocco for “BroadwayWorld”

    • I really consider Billy, and Hope to be anything but conventional romantic characters, but Trimmer, and Raye were anything but that. Triple Threat performers, complete with Fred and Ginger choreography, and costumes, these two were knock outs.” - Kathryn Kitt for “Playbill”

    • “Jackie Raye has a lovely voice and is the picture perfect partner.” -Marlene Gaylin for “On NY and CT Theatre”

    • "Jackie Raye dazzels the audience in the wonderful “delovely” and throughout the show.” -Eric Schoen for “Rising Media”

    • “A standout performance of the evening was the wonderful solo “Goodbye, Little Dream” by Jackie Raye which was quite an impressive highlight to open Act two.” - Irene Wallace for “On the Valley.”

    • “Jackie Raye is a knock out as Hope Harcourt and is properly pert, and pretty, matching Trimmer, Croker, note for note.” -Chelsey Plemmons for “Danburty News Times.”

    • “Jackie Raye made her WBT Debut, and sang and danced her way through that show in authentic, and true musical comedy manner. Did I mention she wears her outfits quite well?” -Nancy Janis for “NY Patch”
